Timothy Lynn Downey,62, of Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic passed away on January 6, 2022, at his brother’s home in Providence, KY.

Mr. Downey was born on March 31,1959, in Madisonville, KY the son of the late Mr. Reba Downey and Mrs. Ruth Lantrip Downey. He is preceded in death by his sister, Sheila McBride and two brothers, Larry, and Leo Downey.

Mr. Downey was of the Baptist faith, a retired Boilermaker, he enjoyed watching NFL football where he was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Downey is survived by his wife of 20 years, Elizabeth of Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic, two daughters, Caroline and Isabella both of Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic; his sisters, Selina (Ronnie) McElroy of Vermont; Kathy (Jerry) Clevenger of Atlanta, GA; Lisa (George) Jones of Paducah, KY; two brothers, Ronnie (Bobbie) Downey of Salem, KY; and Chris ( Melissa) Downey of Providence, KY; sister in law, Shirley Downey of Newburgh, IN; and his brother in law, Donald McBride of Crofton, KY; several nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Mr. Downey will be held at a later date.
