Joyce Faye Beckner

Joyce Faye Beckner,74, of Marion, KY passed away on Thursday December 23, 2021, at the Crittenden County Health & Rehab Center.

Mrs. Beckner was born on February 11, 1947, in Evansville, IN the daughter of the late James Lewis and Katherine Cowan Lewis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny on August 26, 2021, her sisters, Sharon Beckner and Phyllis Groves, and her nephew, Jerry Wayne Groves.

Joyce was a member of Enon General Baptist Church and attended New Hopewell Baptist Church, she enjoyed sewing and making doll clothes, crafts, cooking, camping, and fishing. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and spoiling her grandkids.

She is survived by her sons, James (Tina) Beckner of Clay, KY; Kenneth “Spud” (Stacie) Beckner of Saraland, AL; one sister, Carolyn Sue(Mike) Waddell of Clay, KY; her grandchildren, J.T.(Andrea) Beckner, Zachary, Cullen, and Finley Beckner; one great granddaughter, Averie Grace Beckner, and one on the way, her brother-n-laws, Johnny Beckner of Clay, KY; and Jerry Groves of Sturgis, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00PM Tuesday December 28, 2021, in the chapel of Melton Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Sigler officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Blackford, KY.

Visitation will be from 11:00AM until the service hour on Tuesday December 28, 2021, at Melton Funeral Home.
