Floyd A. Imboden

Floyd A. Imboden,76, of Providence, KY passed away on Monday April 24, 2023, at his home.

Mr. Imbodnen was born in Providence, KY, on February 15, 1947, the son of the late Mr. Jessie Frederick Imboden and Mrs. Atlanta Gobin Imboden. He was preceded in death by his son Louis Gordon Dees, one brother, Jesse Imboden, two sisters in laws, Julie Elizabeth “Dolly” Imboden, and Betty Imboden.

He was a United States Marine Corps veteran, a member of the American Legion, he enjoyed riding horses, collecting movies, hunting.

Mr. Imboden is survived by his wife of 23 years, Sharon of Providence; his children, John (Terril) Imboden of Elizabethtown, KY; Jesse Imboden of Illinois; Crystal (Ellen) Imboden of Iowa; Steve (Michelle) Imboden of Ft. Myres, FL; Tammy (Tim) Dame of Poole, KY; two sisters, Daisy (James) Davis, Norma (Charles Wesley) Guess both of Providence, KY; his brother, Delmar Imboden of Henderson, KY; grandchildren, Kallum, Brennen, Cameron, Ian, Nathan, Mikayla, Caleb, Cassidy, Kalyana.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 27, 2023, at 1:00PM in the Lucille Melton Memorial Chapel at Melton Funeral Home with Bro. Barry Cullen officiating, burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery in Shady Grove, Ky.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 26, 2023, from 4:00PM until 7:00PM and from 11:00AM until the service hour on Thursday at Melton Funeral Home.
