Eugene “Gene” Ipock,79, of Providence, KY passed away on Saturday December 4, 2021, at his home.
Mr. Ipock was born on June 8, 1941, in Hopkins County, KY the son of the late Mr. Edward Ipock and Mrs. Frances Janie Morse Bryant. He is preceded in death by his wife Priscilla in 2014,his sisters, Joy Frances Morris, Rosetta Bryant, and one brother, Bruce Fletcher.
Mr. Ipock was a lifelong truck driver, a member of the Nebo United Methodist Church, he went to all of his grandchildren’s ballgames, listening to gospel music and WFMW, dining out, sitting on his porch, and walking at Baker Park.
Mr. Ipock is survived by his daughters, Sharon (Tim) Dukes of Coiltown, KY; Dianna (Bill) Duncan of Madisonville, KY; and Rebecca “JoJo” (Troy) Weaver of Providence, KY; his sister, Bertha (Larry) Harris of Clay, KY; his brothers, Tommy Ipock of Clay, KY; Doug (Gayle) Bryant of Coiltown, KY; Tommy (Judy) Fletcher of Madisonville, KY; Fabian (Dianne) Ipock of Madisonville, KY; ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one great- great grandchild.
Funeral services will be 1:00PM on Tuesday December 14, 2021, in the Lucille Melton Memorial Chapel at Melton Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Parrish officiating burial will follow in the Beulah Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday December 13, 2021, from 4:00PM until 7:00PM and from 11:00AM until the service hour on Tuesday December 14, 2021.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Duncan, Tim Dukes, and Troy Weaver.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Duncan, Kevin Dukes, Jacob Weaver, Austin Dukes, Braxton Luckett, Ben Dukes, and Adam Chambliss.
